Default Whats a good Battery

I'm Building an Axial Honcho. I'm going to order Tekin FXR ESC 35T combo. I have a 10amp CC BEC & Traxxas 2075 servo. No radio yet.
What Lipo battery would you guys suggest.

What are the size requirements?

Any of these lipos from Krawl Off-Road will work well with that setup:

Honestly I don't know. The Tekin web site states. "Rock Crawler Spec: 3S Lipo compatible when used with 35T or higher motor."
Your asking, 7.4v or 11.1v... I'm not sure. Are 3s Lipos all 11.1v & 2s 7.4v ?
If thats the case, what a good Mah to look for?
Sorry for the Noob questions.

Sorry, I didnt explain. I meant "physical" size. Does the pack need to fit inside a specific location? If so, what are the dimensions of that location? Also, how long do you want this pack to last?

The Battery tray measures 5" by 1 & 7/8". Its located over the front axle.
The Honcho is cab only, Trugy style.
I dont know what the average run times are on Lipos.
I would guess 35 minutes run time. Is that average? or are they better than that?
Batteries have come a long way Since I had my last RC, About 15yrts ago.

Ahh....ok. Somewhere around 1300-1500mAh should give you the runtime you want and still be small enough to fit those dimensions. As Jason listed...either his packs or the TP packs will work great!

This is a great SCX pack, small and light with decent runtime. I run the 850 and 1000 mah packs in my comp truck, but prefer 1800-3300 mah packs in my scalers for the longer runtimes. I run it in the TTC truck I'm building until I can get a 4s charger and pack and every now and then in my Honcho.

These packs are slightly larger but will still fit a SCX great, a little more runtime at the same $40 price point.

I run this pack in my Honcho, I have it strapped to my servo on my CMS kit. Gets the weight nice and low and all the way to the front, which helps with such a thick bulky pack. Runtime is killer and it passes enough amps for my brushless system even in the cold, but I have a hard time recommending it due to price.
