| PLEASE ....HELP futaba r603fs receiver problems
for a couple comps I have been having problems with my receiver..It will just take off by its self forward or reverse.. I did some testing tonight and found that when it happens the red light is turning on on the receiver and when it stops acting up the green light comes back on.. Everytime this happens it only happens for about 2 to 3 seconds if that.. TRIALS.... used another 4PK...same problem moved the receiver away from the servo...same problem I use the 604 in mt berg with no issues at all, so I dont think its the radio.. any help would be appreciated |

Crack the case open and see if the antenna plug has come loose. It just snaps onto the board. I have never heard of it happening but could see it being possible in a crawler.

think I found the problem....I took the case apart and found no issues..tried it again and it did the same thing...I am using a 2s 320 hyperion battery here is where I think I figured it out....I hooked up my 2s 850 hyperion battery and the issues are GONE...I think I might need to run my servo directly to the BEC instead of thru the receiver with the BEC... what do you think Harley? |
