Default low voltage cut off question

one a low voltage cut off like the Novak 2s cut off has been wired in can you still use NiCad batteries with that ESC? I want to use my Lipos with my scx10 rtr, but may still want to use some of my old NiCads some times.

yes it will work,,itll just cut off when low voltage is detected
