Default Rhino Battry Problem

Last spring I picked up three Zippy Rhino 610mah 20C 3 cell batteries. They were awsome in my Berg. I could run 2 courses safely on each battery and they had just enough punch. They probably have about 40-50 cycles on each one.

About the same time I started running the XR-10, and around when the weather turned cold... all three batteries stopped taking any more than 400 mah on a charge. They can be warm, or cold... it doesn't matter. I am only getting around 400 on each one.

Now if it only happened to one of them... I'd write it off as a bad battery. But all three at once? They have never puffed and they all balance fine.

So... any ideas on why? Any suggestions on how to revive them?

Thanks!

40 to 50 cycles on each one, that is about the life cycle of a 20c cell being discharged in 10 to 15 minutes time. Sounds like you have used them up.

Did you happen to store fully charged? storing fully charged will increase internal resistance and reduce capacity in short order.

Some good info on storing batteries here:

I setteled on storing mine in my beer fridge... the chrispers are now good for something in that fridge

These are nice and small, have good punch and best of all... ship FREE and are IN the US already

Storage??? What's that? They get used every day or two

If I'm going with an 800mah battery I'm going for the 40C punch of the TP's or the Krawl Off-Road Batteries.
