| Anyone add a back light to a spektrum radio
I found a nice deal on a backlight kit for another radio and i want to adapt it for a spektrum radio, but from the few things i've read theres a film on the back of the screen that needs to be removed, has anyone added a backilight to the 3r or 3s, how'd you get the film off?

ive never done it to a radio, but it was very easy to mod my ice charger to have a backlight. I'd imagine its no different for a radio...

well i got enough parts coming to do 5 radios and experiment a little, 2 of mine, 2 for someone else, and 1 extra in case i ruin one of them or pimp out my ti-84. So we'll see if they work good or not. but from what i have read is to take a heat gun to it before you pull the adhesive off, and 95% of the adhesive comes off, then take your thumb and like push the rest off, i also read moo-tor clear works good too to get the adhesive off. But i'm unsure about using chemicals or even water to clean electrical stuff, but i don't know nothing about lcd's so it may be ok. |
