Default Dx3e ??????

Does anyone use the DX3E. It was purchased for me for christmas. I was thinking of using it for my Micro Losi Crawler for the 4WS. I was going to do the independent steering. But now I here that the third channel doesnt return to the center. Its either one way or the other. No middle ground. Is this true.

Put the 3rd ch on 3 position and it will return to centre.

It should work, it is 3 positions. Your center position will be centered, left will be left, right will be right. Take the servo horn off and turn everything on. Now put the horn on, that is centered. Now hit the switch and go one direction and adjust your end point. Do that again for the other side.

What you can do if you want is add a momentary 3p switch instead of the switch on the back. The spot on the back is a little hard to reach, on the side of the grip is much more comfortable.

DX3E is a 3 position 3rd channel radio. Check your setup again.

I'm pretty sure the instructions with mine said that if you switch it from 2pos to 3pos you have to rebind.

The instructions state that you MUST rebind the radio if you change the reversing and position switches.
