LosiKid sells similar to what I use for a "no-solder" BEC direct to servo connection, here.....Products - OverkillRC

I flatten out the 90* bend and only use 3 pins. The gold plating helps prevent corrosion (compared to bare copper strands or paper-clips). A wrap of electrical tape holds it together.
My LHS sells Futaba "J" housings. These help support the servo signal wire when you plug it into the RX.

why bend it in a z......
when you could use a 4 pin rail, and just a little solder to connect pin 3 and 4 together, then just clip off the other side of pin 4....
that way it will fit together tight.....

This is what I use.RX Bypass plug | CreationFabRX Bypass plug, plug servo into connector w/ all three wires. BEC into connector w/ red & black wires. The yellow and black go into the receiver. You don't have to hack up wires this way which is why I got it. My external BEC runs the servo and the ESC's internal runs the reciever. I found this adapter on here somewhere about 2 weeks ago.

The signal wire going back to the reciever also needs to be grounded. I have crimped my own adapters for all my bec's with no ground to the reciever, but in my yeti I had a random, hard left twitch in my steering servo. Started a thread about it and adding a ground jumper to go with the signal wire back to the reciever was the cure.

They share the same fine construction. Nice and fat wire, common ground with the RX, and a direct link between BEC and your servo. Need powa!!

This is what I usually run, brushed motor, Castle Creations BEC & ESC (the setup will have three wires to the motor when using a brushless motor)

I use a Deans connector for the battery and a JST for the BEC

I use 3 pins (LINK after removing center piece) and a piece of shrink wrap to connect the servo connector to the BEC connector - it's still easy to gain access and unplug if necessary but it won't come unplugged while crawlin' or bashin' - I use a tiny flathead screwdriver to unlock the individual servo wires from the servo connectors - be careful and patient

This method has been 100% reliable and it's pretty easy to connect everything and doesn't require buying extra wiring or connectors - you can even make pins from thicker gauge single strand wire which works just as well as using pins

Note: It's important to setup the ESC & BEC with CastleLink software before making these connections

The esc/rx connection? my rx get's the power over the esc/rx connection.

I would still highly recommend connecting the BEC's output ground to the esc/receiver ground. There is always a potential (pun unintended) for a voltage offset be created when you rely on a ground that's passed thru several components & connectors. The grounds will not both be true zero, which will increase or decrease the positive voltages accordingly. The only path for this is thru the signal wire, which will not be good. At best the signal will be just be out of spec (hi or low voltage), at worst you'll start moving some current thru signal devices that can't handle it.
