Lightbulb Sealed ESC heat-sink Idea ?

Wanted to see if any you had any thoughts on this idea . Take a receiver box cut a slit in the side at the bottom and place a 90 degree bent piece of aluminum in it so it is fixed to the bottom on the inside and sticking up on the outside attach my FX-R to the inside on the aluminum with thermal tape and attach heat-sinks on the outside , and seal everything up .

You could try it. Just dont seal up the box till you know for sure the heatsink is capable of shunting the heat. I put an rs with my rx and light controller in a sealed project box with no heatsink and had no problems.

Is your FX-R getting hot? Just seen this was old.
