Question Does voltage matter in a battery???

Well im geting my first crawler and was wondering, does the voltage matter in a battery. Say the crawler comes with a 7.2 volt, if u wanna get another battery does the voltage have to stay the same??? thx ahead of time!

Not really.

it all depends on what you ESC can handle. If it can only handle 6cells, thats what you are stuck with.
If it can handle higher you can change.
