Just buy a good one from the start, make sure your end points are set right, install a Castle BEC and be done.

I'm running a couple Hitec 5955's, they seem to work great. Got a couple JR9100's that work very well also.

I used one of these on my Night Crawler and I have been very pleased with it.

The Hobbico CS-170 has een a real good performer for me in two 2.2 comp crawler over the past two years. For $90 it isn't bad at all.

....... Castle BEC

Gives your servo the power it needs to function properly. Factory BEC's in all ESC's won't push the current needed to get the most out of your steering servo. UNLESS you go with a Holmes Hobbies TorqueMaster BR-XL . It's got the big BEC built in plus all the beef you need to run any brushed set up you want, up to 6s lipo.

Any servo that's got less than 300 oz. of power, will leave you begging for more.

You'll love it. Be prepared to turn the drag brake down. Sucker locks up hard. I got mine at 50% and it's still a little much.

if your on a budget, go with the hobbypartz servo. it has 200oz torque, metal geared. only issue is that its speed is 2.0sec lol
