No problems with windows 7. Is it a software problem or are you not getting the green light on the connector. I was having trouble the other day getting the green light when I hooked it up. Realized that by deleting the on/off switch off my ESC, the BEC was sending power to the Speed controller everytime I hooked it to the computer.

I havent had any issues using Vista. I did have an issue with one of my USB ports not liking the castlelink, but I just used a different one and everything was fine.

Look on the CC website, it give special instructions on how to use the castlelink program if you have vista and or 7. I was also having a problem getting it on my computer, then I read the instructions and all good.

If the castle program willnot recognize the BEC you MUST disconnect the power wires on the BEC from the ESC. De-solder, unplug, or cut, whatever the case may be. If you get a error when trying to open the castle program with version 3.27 or 3.29 reload version 3.253 and it should work again. I cant get 3.27 or 3.29 to work with Vista, but I seem to be the only one so far.

It doesnt work either connected to esc or by itself. The only one i have that will program is toast. I run it exactly like cc says to.
The green light on bec is on when connected, but it says its not connected on pc. I dont think usb port is bad because it will program an esc normally.

I have also programmed them at a buddys on his pc using vista while wired in w no probs

Thx for replys

If it's wired to an ESC you need to plug a battery in.
