| Not sure what to do here..HLP PLS..
I have a Airtronics MX-Sport 3. My rig right now is a MOA set up. I wanna have rig set up to use "dig". I am not using 4WS. Now I have a couple of options here and this is where I am not sure on. Option 1-- I can get a MX-3X NEW which has a 3pos. sw on it (according to the manual). But I will need to get another ESC. I just got a Outcry w/dual motor hook up from RC4WD last week. According to what I read/remember from the manual, I need 2 ESC?? Option 2-- I can get a MX-3 (used) but not sure sure if it has a 3 pos. sw. or not. Or will work with what I am trying to do? I could also go this route but according to RC4WD I need a "switch" to use??? http://store.rc4wd.com/Rocker-Dig-El...ler_p_681.html Any help/advise pls? Just not sure on how I should proceed. Anyone have these radios? Pro's/Cons? Plus the MX-3X comes w/4ch rec.!! If I knew how or could do a "switch" to my MX Sport3 I think I would be ok there. But I don't know where to start with that. Sorry this has turned out to be sooo long. Thnx for advise/HLP. Sabo |

Sorry, I'm a Futaba guy so can't answer your specific radio question. I replied in your other post: I'm running a single ESC (CC Mamba Max) and a servo dig on a MOA Bully rig with a Futaba 3PM-x. For me, my options (for a single ESC) is either an electronic dig or a servo/switch dig. Either one can kill power to either motor for front or rear dig. |

If it were myself, I would go with the Punk Dig, rather than the Rocker. The Punk is wired properly to short/lock the motor that is in dig mode, making it hold better. The Rocker lets the motor free wheel because it is open wired when in dig mode, and the wheels will roll through much easier. If you look and/or search in the for sale thread, you can find them for less than new prices. You can also put up an ad in the wanted section too. JC |
