Default Anyone running this servo? Hitec 5645MG

I'm running narrowed kongs and I'm wondering if it will have enough juice to turn those tires. Oh by the way they will be running off a super rooster. Any info would be appreciated.

Hitec 5645MG High-Torque servo

Specs: Speed: 0.23 sec/60 degrees at 4.8V
Speed: 0.18 sec/60 degrees at 6.0V
Torque: 143.03 oz/in at 4.8V
Torque: 164.2 oz/in at 6V

I'm guessing no....

Most guys either run 1/4 scale servo's like the Hitec HS-805BB or some of those big buck 1/10 scale servos that put out over 200 oz/in of tourqe.

I'm guessing it will stear with those servo's, just not well enough in most situations.

I run a 5645 on the rear of my TXT-1. It does a good job turning LST's for a standard sized servo. Kongs are a lot bigger though. I run mine off of the Super Rooster's 6.0V also, so far no problems.

I run that servo off my Super Rooster and it turns my Kongs just fine. I have a Kimbrough servo saver also fyi. To some people it's not enough torque but for me it has held up pretty good. In some situations it might be nice to have something like a 1/4 servo to push it off rocks but for most crawling it turns the kongs well. Some guys on here run just the 645mg with their kongs and that one has less torque even.

hope this helps.
