Looks very good man, nice alternative for the people who have had issues with punkrc, I personally had good luck with them before switching to MOA.

Do you have an estimate price tag for that bad boy?

I like the changes you made using the copper, looks much better......Keep up the good work........

Glad you like the changes.

I should be able to keep the price at $60.

Going to mount it in my Bully for some testing if I can before the girlfriend finds me something else to do

Man, heyok that is really a thang of beauty!! I unfortunately cant do $60 right now. Nothing to do w/you. I would prefer to try yours out. But between the VA and the economy cant swing that. I will wait and see what happens. I can try to squirrel away some $$$? Definitely will keep up with this to see how it is going.

Very nice product Heyok. You should sell a ton of these.

With extreme use of the system, would it generate alot of heat?

I ask because after I solder up all the wires, I would take shrink tube or black tape to cover the whole thing up. This way nothing could touch the wires for a safety precaution...

The latest version is looking better. I applaud you for what you're offering. If I still used an electronic dig, I'd look into one (I run dual ESC's with a 4PK).

I would suggest leaving the free-wheel alone. There are so few people out there that want free wheel digs that it isn't worth your time. Heck, take a look at how RC4wd's first attempt at a dig failed because it was closer to a freewheel unit. Keep what you're building simple to build, with less parts and you'll do much better with it.

I agree. No free wheel.

Good question. There should be no heat at all, so go right ahead and cover it any way you like. The only thing that could generate heat is the relay coils and that is almost nothing, just enough power is used to pull in the relay contact and that is what they are made to do.

Here is a video of my new dig controller working in my Bully

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XGx-YvXQJLk

It isn't going to win any awards for production value, but it shows front and rear dig working.

Here it is with some silicone smeared on top and the wires soldered on.

This thing looks tiny compared to what I am using. I love the lack of board and the copper tabs are very convenient.
I would suggest ditching the silicone on the relays if it will be safe to cover them in, say, plastidip after soldering the wires.
In my current unit I used heatshrink to protect it from accidental shorting and minor damage, but this thing looks way easier to protect with a coat of liquid tape.

Sounds good. I'm tempted to just leave it bare and let the buyer cover it up.

The size should work for most people. Price is similiar to the Punk unit and you're using higher amperage relays than punk? Sounds like a winning combination.
