Default explain what bec is for on speedos

i was just wondering..differant esc have differant bec ratings...what does the bec do

bec is power for the servos and reciever

Battery Eliminator Circuit. Its a feature that regulates the voltage of the battery pack down to around 4.8 volts to power the receiver and servos.

1.5A is minimal for high torque servos, 3.0A is where its at. The more amps, the better your servo's will do.
