Oh come on, there are like 8,000 threads of what ESC should I use with my lathe motors. Just read!!! Also, its not a speedo. Its an Electronic Speed Controller, ESC. Anything will handle them, so what you are looking for is the BEC. The BEC on the XRS is the lowest I've seen, and the Rooster is very durable, BEC is 1.5A, which isn't great, but better. |

Its my job to both answer your question and be an ass. Its not just newbie bashing, we just don't want pansies here, so if we're mean and someone runs off... Its better that way, we don't want to have to tone down our attitude for people who are less hardcore. Its all about growing a thick skin and having some fun |

damn is it your job to be a ass? i really didnt think i had to have a thick skin just to talk about rc cars...i thought we just had to be into crawling...but i guess not.... you know alot of people on Clodtalk (where ive been a member for about 2 years now) tell me about your newbie bashing....but i just got a shafty...ohh sorry a shaft driven rc vehicle...and you guys are more "shaft driven vehicle" here so i figured id check you out....not very welcoming to newer people...that i dont get. im a newbie here but not everywhere and i dont ask newbie questions...but i still get a newbie bashing...thats funny... |

Then you fawking post asking what the difference between two ESCs was, when it was the exact thing I explained just recently to you!! A lot of my post was just joking with you, but if you want to take offense to it, whatever, its not going to hurt my feelings any. Its not my fault you wasted 2 years of your life on clod talk and didn't learn anything

This is the internet, the only way we know you at all is from this site. On this site you are a newbie. If you want RCCrawling infornmation this is the best place to get it. However on this site we do not hand you respect when you sign up, here you earn respect. Post some pics of your rig, show us some pics of it crawling, show us what kind of mods you have done. We don't wanna run everyone off, this site is just for hardcore crawling, and we take it seriously. Plus 90% of the time people are just joking around, that is what this means Stick around, grow some thick skin I guarntee you'll learn things here that are no where else on the web. |

When you look at the big picture, there's only one axle configuration that has axle mounted motors, and that's the Clod. Every other monster truck out there has centrally mounted trannies and driveshafts that connect to the axles. It's only natural for there to be more shafty discussion.
