| Servo glitching... HELP!!!
I've read though these threads and havn't found anything similar to what I'm experiencing. This is what I've got... In my LOSI MRC... Before there was an issue Castle Sidewinder Micro Spek receiver CC BEC MG995 Servo Losi Slider motor everything worked awesome. I decided up upgrade my servo and motor to a HS-645MG and a Holms Hobbies 33T Mini Tourque master. Now I have... Castle Sidewinder Micro Spek receiver CC BEC HS-645MG Holms Hobbies 33T Mini Tourque master The issue is that when I throttle the stearing glitches and even turns left with no responce to the stearing. I've torn it down rewired and same issue. I removed the BEC and ran just the servo and it's perfect, no issues. As soon as I hook up the BEC same problem. Mind you, it's wired to the BEC the same way it was with the old servo that had no issues. If I can't fugure this out, looks like I can't run a BEC with the new servo? Or perhaps the BEC is toast? I can't check with the old servo because that servo is toast. The gears blew out. Any thoughts? Last edited by Abavuso; 02-12-2011 at 10:17 PM. |

X2 same problem MRC CC bec Insane 370 can Hitec 645mg servo Stock esc Novak lipo cutoff If you have the adjustable version of the ccbec then plug in your castle link and up the voltage to the servo until all is smooth. Mine only works good @ 7+ volts. |

Yes the lights all come on and here's how it's wired. I was wondering, I noticed there were no little yellow resistors things(I'm not sure what thay are on the new motor. Here's two pictures. I upped the voltaget on the BEC to 6V - The servo says the operation range is 4.8v to 6v, Can I safely up the voltage to 7 without tosting the servo? Last edited by Abavuso; 02-13-2011 at 06:00 AM. |

| No bec
Looks like I'm roling with out a BEC for now. it works awesome, no glitching, no stearing cutting out. Servo has tons of power with my 800AM 2S Blue Lipo. I jus spent 30 min with my sons wood truck tied to the axle pulling it around the house loded with toys and crawling over pillows binding up the wheels to get the stearing of throttle to cut out due to lack of voltage and well, no problems. I guess friday I'll test it a motorama during testing and if all seams well, I'll leave it that way for the event. If not, looks like friday will be a late night. |
