| z590 servo
I just purchased the DX3 Spektrum radio for my TXT build up, it came with a z590 high torque servo. I was wondering if anybody has used the z590 servo? I know it is only 80 oz of torque. Just wondering if it is worth trying out or should I get the all mighty 645 servo?

I've stripped 2 of them out on my buggy, the first spektrum warranted, second went in the trash! Hitec rules! you get what you pay 4 w/ them! |

What are you planning on usong it in? I don't think the one that comes with the Spektrum set it the metal one either. I have the 590M which has metal gears and it worked great in my TC but not so well for the front servo on my TLT. I switched it to the rear and picked up a Hi-Tec HS-5645MG servo for the front. |

The 590's that come in the kits stocked at the LHS are metal gear. If you are building a TLT trail rig then I think you would be OK. If you are building a rock rig you will need a bit more torque than this servo will provide.

Thanks for the help guys. I will end up getting some 645s for it. I'm still building the TXT and will begin modding it soon.
