Based on vehicles in your sig, I would suggest at LEAST a 3 channel radio (like a Futaba 3PM-x) or a 4 channel radio (like a Futaba 4PL).

Yes, I am Futaba biased.
The additional RX's for a 4PL are cheaper than for a 3PM-x.

i dont really need a 3 channel right now, since i dont have a dig or anything. the 2 channel will work for both of my rigs.

soo do you think this radio is better that the old school 27mhz with crystals?

Pretty much ANY 2.4ghz is better than a crystal radio.
Most now have multiple model memory (great for bouncing 1 TX between multiple vehicles). No freq issues, usually longer TX battery life, etc.

For your 2.2 Creeper comp rig, you really need 3 channels.
1-Steering
1-Throttle
1-Dig

The Bronco may need a winch at some point.

cool, i think i might order it tomorrow, and yea, 3 channel would be nice but im never gunna run a dig or a winch. and for $40 bucks, cant beat it.

and for the bronco i have a old school traxxas radio modded for a 3 pos switch for a winch. so that would be fine.

just need a better radio for my creeper.

Might want to look into this radio also

I've had one for a couple weeks and it's a pretty solid radio, also extra receivers are under $10.

i had the xr2 rc4wd radio at first and it worked great for what i needed then, only reason i got rid of it was to have option for dig now. Buddy of mine has radio now for his daughters crawler and believe she has no problem with it either
