| Hitec 7950th
I am planning on getting the 7950th for steering on my Berg project and have not owned a hitec digital servo before, was wondering if I need to get one of hitec's digital servo programmers for any reason? I am using a 4PK. thanks

| No you don't have to, it works great out of the box. I have one and I setup the servo in 180° mode and bump up the overload protection. But again, it's not necessary to have a programmer.

The only thing that I can see the programmer can be used for is to set the Overload protection....but yeah, not needed.
