Default Duratrax ICE - Hack to charge more than 1c ?

Does anybody know if a Duratrax Ice can be modded or hacked to charge at more than 1c rating?

Not that I know of... The only hack I've EVER found for the Ice was a EL backlight.

I always just upped the mah rating that the charger thought it was charging.

I.E.
1100 mah hyperion battery I would charge it as a 5000 mah battery.

Same here. Just tell it that the capacity is higher.

Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if lipos peak like that and didn't want any charging problems

That helps a lot since I've been waiting and waiting and waiting for batts charging at 1c. Takes forever to get several packs charged that way so I was getting ready to buy a new charger. The Ice still works great and I don't mind using my external hyperion balancer, so no need for a new charger.

Thanks again John and Jeremy

You can lie to it as stated above and then set the capcity MAX to something less than 100% to keep the safety there.

EX if you charge at 5C then set capacity to 20% if possible.

So much faster charging the little maxamp packs at 5c!

But Chris told me not to charge his packs at more than 2c in case anybody cares
