| Dual esc's
Can I hook up 2 escs of the SAME kind using a y splitter so that I can use 14.4v of power? (They each are onl capable 3s, but if I were to use a y splitter would they then be able to handle 6s?) If so how would I do it with the batteries and motor wires be connected to the ESC'S?

the castle sidewinder is rated to 3s lipo or 12cell nimh/nicd so it can handle the 14.4v

It's too hard to put a blanket statement over every esc like that, but most will. You may have to run an external BEC or change a capacitor or 2, but they should.

| Yeah I know it is. Ok thanks. If it can handle 14.4v of power it should be fine to use it with a 4s lipo as long as I use a external 4s lipo cutoff right?

| I honestly cannot speak for the VXL stuff. I think you are tempting fate though, remember that a fully charged 4s is is over 16V, around 16.8-17.2v. I know the cells on my good packs are usually around 4.3V ea when fully charged. But let us know how it works out! |

As for EsC's even our FXR's only come with 16v capacitor in stock trim, so if running a 4s pack, we recommend replacing the stock capacitor with a 25v capacitor, to cover the higher voltage. | |
