Default EVX mod question HELP

ok Ive read alot about this mod that is done to the evx ( you know shorting out the one side) well my question is if I do this to my evx can I still run 2 batts to the evx or will that be too much voltage? also is there a way I can wire my motors in parrelle to my evx? Ive already used the search feature but there was no answer to this particular question. thanks in advance

The idea behind shorting out the one batt plug is so you can only run one battery.... It will still run two, you're not limiting its capabilities in any way, it just allows you to run one battery....

You could probably open up the EVX and resolder the motor leads in paralell.. But I'm not sure, I've never done it.
