Default micro pro glitch?

So I just got my 4pl and I wanted to program the dual micro pros. Went through the lights fine (ring from motor was weak). When I apply throttle fwd/rvs it glitches/stutters forward and back a few inches, and just keeps doing that. Running HH 35 torque masters, and 3s lipo. I had a friend program the CC bec to 7.2, and set up the esc for me yesterday with the castle link. Wired just like harley shows in the 4pl setup. Any thoughts?
Thanks

Did you run the MMPs on the Castle Link as well? IIRC, they come programmed for brushless. Did you have them setup on another radio before?

Brand new never run with another radio, and we used the newest software on the MMP as well. It goes through the program fine. I have a solid yellow light in neutral, which according to castle is right.

Yep, that is correct. So, what settings did you program to these ESCs??

I cant remember and it is on his computer, so I have no reference right now. But I think we just set the drag brake, and I want to say changed it from brush-less, but I am drawing a blank on that one.

If, by chance, you left it in brushless mode, this could cause the symptoms you describe...

Yep, in the manual, starting on page 20, it tells you how to manually program the ESC. If you dont have it, here is an electronic copy:

I have to say, after doing things manually for a number of years, I LOVE using the Castle Link programming. Makes things so much easier, and I can actually remember (save) what my settings are.

It should be fine. It just means that you have the motors wired backward and the ESC reversed. If it bugs you, swap the motor leads and reverse the throttle channels...

That's a relief. I have matched holmes 45 when they came one was marked rear and from what u said figured the motors were already to go and reversed and we just wired them up normal.Sure do appreciate all your help going to have to get me a star to support this forum this is the best most helpful website out there and thanks again.

Just remember, now your programming will be backward as well. If you want to set a throttle curve, it will need to be in the brake curve section of the programming....
