Default Tall Servo Horn - Anyone make them?

I am looking for a tall servo horn. Something that will provide close to 3/4" between the servo and the arm. I need to mount my servo on my chassis for my SCX10 build and the location that I am trying to get to work requires the chassi rail to fit between the servo and the arm.

Good luck with that.

Your best bet is to buy a servo hub from servo city, and fab an "armm" for it. BUT, most servo hubs I've seen are maybe a 1/4" thick at best.

I think you are beter off relocating your servo elsewhere.

I was looking at that option using the thing servo city. It is basically the lenght I need. It is the alum. material that is the issue. I can't braze to alum. I would have to tap it and use a couple of set screws. The more I think about it, the more I think I could make it work. Just wanted to see something that I could just order. I guess this is RC Crawling though. You make what you need.

Hot Bodies (HPI) has some taller servo arms for their Ve8 but not 3/4", more like 1/3".

I'd just grab some aluminum and a dremel and make an extension to bolt on to the existing arm if you need that much reach. Shouldn't be too hard to do, plus as you mentioned, you'll be participating in the joy of making your own parts.
