| 6 Channel system choice
Evening all, I am building a 1/5 scale 4WS buggy and plan to use two independently controlled motors. I will also be installing front and rear home made winches. (eventually!) I am a stick man at heart and plan on using a six channel radio - left stick for rear axle power and steering, right stick for the front. That's four channels taken care of, the other two will be for the winches which will each be driven by modified servos. Yes, I do expect a steep learning curve when it comes to driving it! I have never owned more than a 2 channel set so need some guidance on what to go for for this build. Any pointers you learned lot can offer? Looking at a Rx / Tx combo only as I will buy servos separately as they'll need to be monsters for the size of the truck. Thanks, Bish. |

OK, both of those look good. Dumb question alert: What do the toggle swithces dotted around the case do? Are they all simply on / off or are any on / off / on as I would need to operate the winches in /off / out? |
