What radio are you running?

I do it with 2.4ghz spektrum Rxs without an issue. But if would play havoc with a FM receiver.

Oh whoops that would've been useful info for me to include.

Radio is Spektrum 2.4ghz

Glad to hear that I guess I'll give it a try.

You are probably ok because you aren't using an AM radio. Most external BECs generate a lot of interference in the AM band and to a lesser extent in the FM. The 2.4 stuff is usually fine with it though.

In general, keep "power stuff" away from "radio stuff". For AM & FM, "noise" from power stuff is a bigger deal, but better to keep them seperated even for 2.4ghz.
"If" you have any weird radio issues, try moving the BEC. This is NOT likely since part of the electrical noise issue is due to load, the BEC isn't likely loaded very high.
