Xceliron 1/18th Crawler Como Issues

I am running a Losi Pro Roller with an Xceliron 18.5T sensored brushless motor and ESC.

I ran it fine for about 3-4 runs, no issues. Let it sit for a couple months, plugged a battery back in, now the esc will not power on.

I unplugged the motor wires and sensor wire, esc will power on.

I plugged just the motor wires in, esc will still power on. As soon as I plug the sensor wire in, esc will not power on. The sensor wire is keyed to the esc, so it can not plug in incorrectly. I also checked the sensor wire, no damage or loose connection.

I am running a castle bec on stock voltage and a savox servo. I am also running a 3s 500mah Lipo. I have tried 3 different batteries, so that is not the issue. Also, servo is getting power thru the receiver.

I called horizon, they said to send it in and hope it is covered.
