Default 7t puller won't fit in Wreckluse

Got a new 7t puller for my wreckluse, and it won't fit....3 hours of trying different options, othere than cutting up the chassis and no luck....Just an FYI.

Does it hit the firewall area with motor biased towards the front of the rig? I could swear I installed one in my wreckluse.

Default It will fit but.....

A Puller will fit, but the transmission needs to be relocated. Rojo solved the fitment issue by flipping it and mounting it forward on the skid.

I have it oriented with the mirrored tranny and the motor on the passenger side closest to the front wheel. The puller hits the top link mount. I moved the tranny backward some with no luck. I ran my 55t on 3s today and am ready to start chopping a hole for the puller to fit.

I bet I slid the tranny and forgot about it, cause it has been a while since I did it!

My interior will cause me the most grief, but I gotta do it because the 6s on 55t is unreal in motor maintenance, and on 3s it is way too mild....I almost ordered up a 35t, but considering the nearly 10lbs of rig, I doubt that is the answer either.

That would be awesome if you get it to work, that would be a fast rig. Let me know how it works out, if you can get it to work ill just order one.

Ok, opened up the wreckluse again....I will need to slide the tranny back far enough that the spur gear will nearly ride between the mounting points for the rear upper link mounts, so those links will need bent and remade to wrap around to the outside of the mount area instead of inside to clear the driveshaft. Then, it appears that the puller will clear. I'll post up some pics soon.

Its not the speed, its the control, and spool-up. Think 55t tourque/control at low speed, with 27t top end.

Update: It is in there! Some minor chassis trimming on one plate, repositioned the tranny, refabbed the driveshafts, trimmed the skid to clear the front driveshaft, and moved the rear top links outboard......But it is sooooo worth it! This 7t puller smokes my previous setup of 6s and 55t handwound in every imaginable way!!!!! I am totally stunned. On good traction, it pulls the front tires off of the ground if you punch it....for about 5 feet! 4WS donuts on concrete with 5.7" boggers on! This thing is so mean on 3s it is unreal, but yet can crawl super slow. That Holmes Hobbies!!!! I'll probably pick up a second one real soon just to have for something.
