have not touched my batteries in a few years and I go to charge them and the charger says battery volt too low. Is there any way I can revive these NIMH packs?

Your only hope is to trickle charge them at about .1 amp to see if they take a charge.

Sounds like your charger might be a little too smart for them batteries. Can you get a hold of, or borrow, a more low-tech charger? If you're using a charger that asks how many cells, maybe try telling the charger you'e trying to charge a smaller (# of cells) pack until it starts to get a solid charge going. All I can reccomend at this point is be patient, charge low and slow, and it'll take anywhere from a few to several cycles to get them back up.

x2 I usually use my mega peak charger to charge nimh packs and my good charger for my lipo's. When I put a few of my nimh packs on my good charger they won't take a charge, It just says volt error but put it on my mega peak charger and they charge fine Hope this helps. | |

Ya just do some slow charge in nimh mode asnd get a little voltage back into them. your charger should recognize after a short charge. Keep it below 1 amp
