Can you post a picture of your wiring so we can see it? Something is not working obviously so let's figure it out. I'm honestly thinking it's a bad BEC. With how you say you've got it wired, there's no reason for it not to work because it works for everyone else.

Here's my diagram. Threw it together real quick.

Also, I still don't think it is a bad BEC, as it is wired now, it works perfectly and it is supplying the Servo with power, so it has to work.

You are correct. If you have the BEC wired direct to the servo you do not pull the red wire from the ESC. You only do that when the BEC is plugged into the RX.

Most people just plug straight to the RX from the BEC and let it power everything and don't realize you can wire it direct to the servo as you have.

You can wire it that way, but now your servo and receiver don't share a common ground. The servo channel on your RX only has the signal wire and no ground to go with it, which can cause glitching problems but if it's working run it.

Would this be the better way to hook it up, mine has the red wire pulled ?

The common ground point becomes the battery. They just have to go through the BEC and ESC to get there.

This is how I'm going to be wiring my Super as there is no other way with a 4PK. Yes this is correct, I think I just missed the part about it being wired to the servo direct rather than through the receiver which is more common.

So I ran it for a while today and noticed that the steering servo has started not responding when I'm on the throttle. It's a 645MG, yeah I know it sucks for steering, but I have my 7995TG in repair right now at Hitec, could it just be the servo starting to crap out(brown out)?

YJJP.....does it do the same thing with different batteries?
Are you running a BEC?
When steering quits, does the ESC quit as well? Does the RX light go out?

only have 1 and it was fully charged, and yes it has a BEC, just like the diagram.

ESC doesn't quit, just steering, like it is browning out when I apply throttle. If I let off the throttle, it works again.

sorry if I don't make any sense but im faily new to the hobby and need some advice.
im having the same issue. I have an axial scx10 with stock gearing.
I have added a tekin fxr and 35t combo, running 3s. my motor seems to run warm to the touch nothing crazy hot. can hold your fingers on it all day long. but the esc thermal lights are maxing out with in minutes of running the truck but the esc is just warm to the touch?. I have a cc bec on order which I hope will solve the issue.

list of electronics:
tekin fxr with cap on batt terminals
tekin 35turn
hitech645wp steering servo
kyosho 2.4 syncro radio tx/rx
gen ace 5000mah 3s lipo and a cheaper one but forget the brand? flight something? which is a 2300mah
has a ebay led lighting kit plus the stock axial light kit. 18 led's total

trucks weight is 8 pounds, and running 2.2 mud slingers. weighted front tires nothing in the rears. also has wraith axles.

second issue I have noticed is that the truck will surge/glitch at full speed. almost like a loss of power for a split second but it will only do this when the truck is about 20-30 feet away and continue to do so until closer to me.

I must also say I just rebuilt the rig into a new bright jeep and until now I was unable to see the esc and the led's of the esc. it has only been since I rebuilt the truck that I have had the issue of only being able to run for 5-10 mins before the esc will not operate the motor. the only thing that has chaged is the ebay light kit. also the esc has been moved away from the receiver.

the full throttle issue has always been there since day one.

please help me out guys.
