Default "DOOOHHHHHHH" moments when removing ESC on/off switches....

OK, so most of us remove the ESC on/off switch when installing them.
Why??!!....it's one more chance of failure (if left installed), every connection is a point of failure in a system. I have MANY years in industrial situations and you ATTEMPT to remove points of failure.

So, why am I posting????? I bought a used CC MM ESC, it had the on/off switch deleted. "Great" I thought.

Well, yesterday I went to run my rig and NOTHING. What I found (today) was a broken wire from the "switch" to the CC MM ESC had broken off, thus no power to the RX (ESC thought the switch was OFF).

So, I resoldered the connection and I now have life in my rig again!!

So, for those that may have radio/electrical issues, PLEASE check ALL connections before posting here.

My son found his "radio issues" were because the spur gear ate through the "-" connection between the ESC & the RX. Thus no RX power (being fixed as I type).

Thus today, we fixed 2 issues with some minor soldering.

Some of us may seem to be "buttheads" when asking questions, but I got hammered with 2 issues on the same day. Both were "user fixable" IF you took the time to look.
