| Red wire missing?
So I just got a teken fxr and notice the wires, that go to the receiver, the red wire us missing, I searched using fxr and wiring but couldn't find an answer as to why, do any of you guys know?

When you use an external BEC the red wire needs to be pulled from the lead. Is it gone entirely from the ESC or just cut/removed at the end? If it's gone you won't be able to tune your FX-R with the Hot Wire unless you re-solder one in. |

It's just cut short, with shrink tubing closing it, got it from twisted bender so I don't know what the setting is or how to program with the hot wire

u will have to solder another in place if u wanna change the settings with a hotwire or else u cant change the settings

This is the reason that I use a short (3in) aileron extension between the ESC and RX, I remove the positive wire from the extension. That way I isolate the ESC and still can use the hotwire without having to pull and replace the pin each time.
