What battery are you currently using? Where do you want to move your battery? On the AX-10 many people run their batteries either on the front axle or a tray mounted on the top links. If you want to run a lipo battery (highly recommended) you are going to be limited by space. Figure out where you want to put your battery and make a few measurements, then go shopping. Here are some places to buy batteries:

www.cheapbatterypacks.com (lipo and NiMH)

www.hobbypartz.com

Also knowing if this is a fun rig or comp rig as well helps us help you.
Do you have a LiPO capable charger?
How much run time/pack are you looking for?
How heavy is your rig?

A 3S LiPO for a comp rig may be ~800 - 1000MAH.

For now it is a fun rig, but will probably end up being a comp rig. I have a lipo capable charger and im looking for anywhere between 30-60 mins a pack. The longer the better.

I was looking at a battery like this...http://www.cheapbatterypacks.com/pro...V-2S-pack.aspx.
i like the compact design of it.

Currently im using a 3300 maH 7.4v ni-mH battery. I definately want to go to lipo power. I havent quite decided exactly where i will mount the battery but it will be a tight fit im sure. Thanks for the websites!

+1 & 2, my son and I only use CBP for our batteries.

Never had an issue, usually get batteries on the door step in a week or less.
