| question about 2 paralell escs
I have an xl5 for the motor esc and a xl2.5 for a winch contoller wired paralell on a standard 6cell battery. Do I just plug everything in the respective channels on the rx and turn them both on? Does it matter to have 2 escs sending power to the same rx?

Both esc supplying power could burn something up. Pull the power wire off of the motor esc and let the winch esc power the rx since it not used as much. You could also use a cc bec to power the rx and remove power from both esc.

i would just use one supply from one of the esc's. preferably the winch esc that way it will supply the steering servo, while the motor esc just powers the motors. that or use a BEC and disconnect both esc's

Thanks for the replys. I pluged it in and it somewhat works without burning anything up but the truck has almost no power and stalls out really easy. If I unplug the xl2.5 it runs fine. What would cause this?

it might be a bad connection to the battery. is it soldered? if so look for a bad joint

If the esc's have different BEC voltages and you left both power wires connected they're probably fighting each other. If you plug in the xl2.5 only does the winch work at full power? Clip the power wire on which ever has the lower BEC voltage |
