Default help with novak m2 dig and traxxas tq3 radio

i have an novak m2 dig unit and am wondering how to mod my TQ3 - 3 position switch on ch-4 to work with front, rear, and 4x4 on my xr10... anybody done this or know how to join the 4/5th channels? ...sorry if this has been covered.

i don't have the m2 but i do have the tq2.4 4ch radio and use it with an fx-r and punk dig. the 3-position switch on the traxxas radio is really two separate 2-position switches so you'll need to get a converter to change ch4/5 into a single 3-position switch. i purchased a module from wantAsummit on this forum and have been very happy with the product. i believe he handed making these modules off to another forum member (losikid?) but you can do a search and find the details.

if you have the money for the 4pl that is the right way to go. that being said you'll probably get a lot of people recommend you drop the m2 and go with dual tekin fx-r or castle escs. i don't comp and i'm probably not that skilled of a driver (yet!) so i just stuck with the tq since i already had it around for several other vehicles.

I second this opinion, I gave the M2 a honest shot but was never convinced, I will go with a better radio and maybe FRX+Punk dig!
