Default Novak Rooster Crawler stopped moving. No Smoke though.

Been having some glitching lately. Like steering twitching when I tough the throttle and throttle stopping when I steer. I thought it might be a bad Deans connector on one of my 1300 mAh lipos cause the problem was intermittent and thought about it more and tried to remember what battery I was using when it glitched most..
ANYWAY.
It just stopped moving, no glorious smoke, just stopped. The steering works fine, just no throttle. The red light is on, on the ESC, batteries are full charged (tried several) I just put a new reciever in 30 minutes before it stopped to see if the glitching was that. The new reciever (Spektrum 300 I think) seemed to fix the glitching problem,,, well for 30 minutes anyway.

Any Ideas ?

Now if I cant fix this. and my budget is about $100 dollars, should I replace the Novak, or get something different.

I run 2S lipos on a 55T Novak motor in my AX10 GC3a NON competition backyard crawler.

Thanks a million

Do the lights on the ESC change when you do something with the throttle on the TX?
Maybe try recalibrating the ESC to your radio?
How old is the ESC, is it still under warranty?
Novak has a trade in program for "out of warranty ESC's"..... http://www.teamnovak.com/cs/web_opti...x_tradein.html

As to the other "glitchy" issues, run a CC BEC direct to your steering servo. The radio will be happier and the servo will work better.
