Default Perfex KA-6

Hello!

I have a question to you guys, and I hope you understand it and can give me an answer.

I wonder if you can run a Perfex KA-6 electronic speed controller with a 7,2v and a 8,4v battery? Or you must run the ESC with two the same 8,4v batteries or two the same 7,2v batteries?

I have searched, but don't found any answers at my question.

Sorry for my bad english!

Thanks,
Dennis

Your English is much better than some here (Who live in America ). I own a Kyosho Perfex KA-6, also. This is the Kyosho equivalent of the Traxxas/Novak EVX, made to go in the Twin Force. You should be able to follow this tech article to convert your speed control to run off one battery.

http://www.rccrawler.com/evx.htm

The ESC shown in the article is the EVX that I mentioned earlier, but it should be the same with this model. The KA-6 is actually a better speed, in my opinion, because it can handle more amps than the EVX.

Here are several threads about the perfex, of varying usefulness:

Which motor for this ESC

I have the original box and paperwork if you need any specific information.

On the one connector that powers the servos and esc itself you can run 5 + cells and on the dummy side connector you can use 0-12 cells. So to answer your question yes, you can use a 6 and a 7 on either side.
