Default Battery pack for two 1/4 scale servo ??

Hello.

For the moment, my TXT have a Towerpro MG995 on front and a Hitec (9kg) on rear powered by a Tekin Rebel 2.
I plan to mount two 1/4 scale servos but I have read that I need to put a battery pack because powering this kind of servo by the ESC could damage them.

So I have a Sanyo pack (6V, Ni-CD, 1100Ma). Is it suitable ?

You should be able to run both those servos off a Rebel 2. I don't see why you couldn't, it has a 6v, 5 amp bec.

I have seen on some post that it is more safe to have a 6V battery pack or a Novak regulator with these big servo.

So I don't know what to think about this. I don't want to damage something.
