Default Batts

Hey all
first off dont tell me to search because even if you tell me to......i wont .
I was just wondering PERSONALLY(As far as oneself is concerned) what batts do you like and recommend running. I never thought it matterd that much, i would use old Nylint batts or old batts that i have had since i first got into rc cars. Most of them are 1000 to 1500 i think the highest i had was 3100 and that one went up in flames and almost burned up my whole crawler down, thank god i ripped out the batts before it melted anything important:neutral:. i dont know why but most of my batts have started meltng the pastic coating around them so i have to electrical tape up all the small hole that are forming. that cant be good....RIGHT??:?

this never really botherd me tell the socal guys had a meet and pigeonfarmboy run the same batts for about 1 1/2 to 2 hours without lag or any signs of dying and from the looks of it he could have ran for a LEAST another half hour

~ So what brand, size and type do you guys use, i think im gunna get a whole new stash(2 0r 3) really good batts!!:-P

thanks

DANNY

I was running 8 GP Tagged 18670 4500mAh 1.2V NiMH industrial cells until I changed my chassis and had to switch to the slightly smaller 3700 mAh version. Again in 8 cells.

Get around 1 to 1.1/2 hours on my clod

Get mine from the UK side of this company Budget Batteries however looking at there prices in the USA I pay more in £ than you do in $. Looks like I might have to ship from over the pond next time I order any
