Sounds like you have the throttle channel on the radio reversed and you have the FXR set for the profile that has a delayed reverse. You need to change your reverse profile (read directions) and then reverse your throttle channel.

What you are looking for is "Brake/Reverse Type" and you want it set to "2" Forward to immediate reverse. led 1 and 2 on.

k,set it up to those specs. now when i have the controller in NORM on the reverse when i try to sync the ESC to the Tx it finds neutral/forward/brake right?

its backwards it wont sync unless i go Neutral/brake/forward? wtf? do i have to swap the wires in the motor?

well i rotated the endbell 180* and reversed throttle on the Tx and recalibrated the ESC to Tx and its tits now. so it sorta was the same concept as swapping the wires.

I was unsure about any preinstalled capacitors or diods as i know they can be one way so swapping the wires would smoke them.

Depending on what radio you are using you may have had to switch the throttle channel to reverse, THEN calibrate. Could be that your transmission is mirrored as well, then you would have to swap the wires.

Do the LEDS light up from left to right when you give it throttle?

Im using the 4PL,the throttle had to be rev and the endbell was rotated. my tranny wasnt mirrored and im now using the FSJ tranny and it was a bolt in deal, I didnt have to switch anything for it to go forward properly.
