| servo lock up
has anyone ever ran there crawler and everything work just fine and then the next time you try to run it, the servo lock up on you? i mean lock up. i can grab the metal servo horn with some pliers and try to move it side to side and it won't budge. got any ideas or thoughts specs: airtronics servo (dont remember what model cause its covered with plastic dip tr2 esc tq3 maybe that will help trouble shoot Last edited by yukon635; 05-01-2006 at 11:57 PM. |

well list what your running for gear on your rig... it might help people help you trouble shoot it... i had a low bec ESC and i had a similar problem except that the servo would just die and not do anything...

Disassemble it and check the geartrain. If no problems there your motor fried.

ive had 2 different airtronics servos do this too. a 94161 and a 94357. it was def. the motors locked up. tore them apart and everything except the motors moved freely. no repair except to change the motor or get a new servo. jim |
