Question Battery questions

I have a few packs i use in my Slash that are 2S 5000mah 25C packs. I figure these are overkill in a crawler. So I was looking at smaller packs and got to wondering what "c" rating do i need? IIRC, you multiply the capacity by the c rating to see what kind of draw it can support. If so then that pack supports a 100 amp draw. I was looking at a pack earlier and it was only 45.5 amps. Is this considered good for a crawler? I will be using them in a Wraith that I plan on slowing down a bit for better crawling. I'm hoping that I can get the HH puller in there but if not I'm going to use the HH Revolver motor. thanks for any help.

your pack will be fine for a wraith and give long run times. the only reason we use smaller packs is the limited space and for competitions they dont need to last a hour plus. since the wraith has a battery compartment for a standard battery just use your 5000 lipo since it should fit fine. if you decide to get smaller lipos still look for 30c+ depending on mAh rating (lower mah higher c and vise versa) ex: 850mah 45c-65c or 1700mah 30c-35c
