You likely need to set the EPA's (EndPointAdjustments) so the servo stops just before the steering starts to bind up.

also depending on how long it sits in a bind, once you set your EPA you may see a bit longer running times. Servos in a bind will draw more current.

With a DX3R the EPA is called Travel.

Set the Travel in the DX3R. Adjust it so the travel is stopped just short of the servo straining to go against a physical stop.

Could be, center the steering trim on the TX, then pull the servo arm and rotate it & reinstall centered. You may need to add/subtract link length to get it perfect. You will have to decide if this is what you do or just use TX trim.
