| lipo issues!
Hi guys, everytime i drive my emaxx, i end up with a huge unbalanced voltage when i go to charge next. I ran the batteries about half out, then let them sit unplugged for about 2 days till i could get parts for my truck. Is this bad for them? I have 2 zippy 5000mah 30c 2 cells. And am running a cutoff in my truck. PLease help me! What am i doing wrong?

I leave my lipo's sit for days, half drained... still balanced. I have a big fat Maxamp's 3s that has sat for months... no problems. It could just be the zippys... I don't know, haven't used them. |

If both batteries do it, then it might just be that the zippys are low quality. Sounds like the internal wiring might be messed up so that not much voltage is able to be drawn out of the other cell.

I had small problem with unbalanced packs. Just set the cut-off higher. But you only used til half way mark. Internal resistance is high or have loose connections on one of the batteries? | |
