Just to throw in my two cents, it is my understanding that there is a slight chance that the pack could be unbalanced and then go below 3v/cell. I am thinking of raising my lvc to 3.3 or 3.5 per cell for a little bit more security. I am running large packs so I am not worried about the run time though...

I set mine at 3.3 also, because my balancer (common sense) doesn't work if any one cell is below 3.2. Somewhere between 3.0-3.2 my charger (oynx) won't take the pack and I have to bump it on NIMh for it to charge. So 3.3 leaves it to where I always have easy charging.
