| CC Sidewinder SV2 vs SCT
I am waiting on a repair of my SV2, but they are out of stock. I was offered a SCT as a replacement, but I know nothing about these. I can figure out they are marketed toward short track trucks, but what is the difference between the two ESCs. Can I simply reprogram the SCT to act just like a SV2? I would love to wait for the right thing, but the comp next week is quickly approaching. Wes |

If I am not mistaken the SCT is just a re-badged Sidewinder. Not sure about the SV2. I have one on the shelf right now, SCT that is, I know it looked just like the SV2's we programmed with my castle link. |

I am pretty sure that I read on here that they are the same. Both are slightly more powerful versions of the orig. Sidewinder. I believe they just call the one the SCT when it is paired with their SC motors.

The sv2 & SCT are exactly the same esc with a different sticker and different screen in castle link...that's it! |

| +1, I finally had CC answer that question for me. The only difference is whether it comes with a motor, thus a different label. Marketing.....sigh...... |
