| To many different way to go...
Ok currently Im running the Velineon Brusless set up in my Honcho and it does good and waterproof and all but with no drag brake and semi Cogging it gets old. So Im going back to a Brushed set up. Now here what I can do. I can go back to my Axial ESC on a RC4WD 45T on 2200 3S with a BEC or get the Tekin FXR on 35T Motor on 3S with a BEC. Now other then the name brand stuff for Tekin will the Axial ESC and RC4WD motor be just as good for a while? I dont see why it wouldnt cause Id be getting good power. Or should I just suck it up right now and get the Tekin? |

DOn't forget Holmes Hobbies. I originally bought an FXR as my first crawler ESC. It did its job. I have no regrets. Then a deal from Holmes came about that I couldn't pass up. TorqueMaster BRXL Waterproof. Very different. Very happy. More punch then the FXR. Better drag brake. Waterproof. And it was cheaper then the FXR. Oh and John's support is second to none. Just throwin it out there. -Brian |

Yea Id rather get that.. But the BRXL Waterproof was $110.00 plus the $70,00 Out of Stock motor and I can get the Tekin FXR on 35T Motor for $119.00 so it doesnt make much sense to get the BRXl when the Tekin is fine.

John has a special on his page, BRXL + 35T for $109. Add $10 for waterproofing if needed.

| Why would you need two bec's? Other than that it sounds like a good setup, after getting my brxl's I will never get a different esc for brushed |

Because I have Rear Steer so I was going to connect one to both of my servos and the other threw ESC but I just read up that the internal BEC should power everything on a 3S with no problem so I canceled them, or should I just go ahead and get one and run it on the Servos still?

Post up your questions in the vendors section, Holmes Hobbies. John will chime in and let you know what his products can and cannot do. Might save you some time and money. Here's the link, http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/holmes-hobbies/.

Cool.. Well I got it coming.. I hope my 9/56 32P Gearing will be low enough while still having some good wheel speed.

Keep in mind the BRXL internal bec is not your run of the mill internal bec. It's beefed up to handle crawler needs. John did have a 25% off coupon in the vendors section on the ESC's as well. I bought two because that couldn't be beat. |

Nice low speed control, great punch, and decent top speed for all but the deepest mudholes.
