The Axial Rx is FlySky not Spektrum. Most 2.4 systems are proprietary.

Mine bound right up to the flysky gt3b ,it was discussed in the GT3B hack thread that the spektrum will not bind up with the flysky system. Now I know a guy took the sister board and installed it into the spektrum unit so that he could use the $7 recievers instead of $70 ones.

I'm pretty confident that the axial wraith radio gear is AFHDS (flysky)

So no it won't bind with a dx3c, you'll need a spektrum or losi rx todo that...however and 2nd gen flysky radio should bind right up (GT2, GT3B, CT6B, 9x v2)
