Default esc trouble

I received another sidewinder from castle and i still cant get it to work. i set it to brushed reverse and still no go. I have a hh 35t and it works fine on my stock ae-1 esc. what do i do?

I had the same issue. You think that you changed it to brushed reverse but it still thinks it's brushless.

The answer is the Castle Link. I got a friend to set it and it works like a charm. I called Castle and they sent me a link for free (no cable, just the link).
